Dr MacLachlan joined the surgery in 2013. She is interested in the management of diabetes, gynaecology and contraception, she is responsible for fitting contraceptive coils in the practice. She is also a GP trainer for the Derby training scheme.
Dr Kaysia N Heafield, female
MBS BMedSci DGM DRCOG MRCGP
Dr Heafield joined the practice in 2013, having worked and trained in the local area for the past 8 years. She is interested in all areas of medicine, particularly gynaecology, sexual health, diabetes and healthcare of the elderly. In addition to working part time at the practice she is also a member of the Derby Mountain Rescue Team.
Dr Alexandra Smith, female
BMedSci MBBS MRCGP
Dr Smith joined the practice in 2020. She carries out a variety of joint injections. She is also our clinical lead for education for both our medical students and GP trainees.
